Annapurna Circuit II

You think vertical rocks are just for extreme climbers? Or climbing always means enduring effort without comfort Come with us to the Garda Lake Region where comfortable Italian way of life coexists with climbing thrill. We promise an astonishing blend of outdoor sport, thrill, culture, comfort and more.

Comfortable trek on the legendary route around the Annapurna Range. Crossing the 5410 m high Thorong Pass is only one of many highlights of this trip. We will hike on beautiful trails, often off the main route to avoid the crowd and get some of the greatest panoramas of the Nepal Himalaya. Along the trail we will also visit century old Buddhist monasteries. Some of them surprisingly quiet and offers tranquil atmosphere in unbelievable scenery.

We hike on mostly easy and broad trail. At some places there can be snow (means: it can be slippery) and sometimes can be steep as well. One important aspect is definitely the high altitude. The highest overnight stay will be at around 4850 m above sea level and the Thorong La (La means pass) has an extreme altitude of 5410 m. High altitude trek is our daily business and we plan the itinerary according to our long experience and by considering the knowledge in altitude medicine.

Our Indonesian speaking tour leader with long experience in alpine terrain and altitude medicine will accompany you and ensure our high safety and comfort standard. He´s equipped with necessary altitude related medicine and of course knows how to use it. He has been guiding German, Swiss and Austrian groups to high mountains in Nepal, South America and Kilimanjaro for years and also wilderness treks to destinations less travelled like Siberia and Kamchatka peninsula in Russia. He has completed a special course conducted by an expert of German Society of Mountain and Expedition Medicine.

He visits Nepal regularly and coming to Nepal is for him almost like „coming home“. As a professional photographer specializing in outdoor themes, he will give you precious hints in mountain photography. Check his website: www.nurtantio.com. Surely one of the most important reason to travel with us.
You just carry your personal needs during the day like jacket, camera and flask. Our experienced and friendly Nepali staff will take care of everything to make it an unforgettable and relaxing journey.
